Official Rules and Resort Policies
We at Caney Creek RV Resort want you to enjoy your stay with us. Therefore, we have created a list of resort policies to ensure your stay is the safest and most enjoyable it can be. We have worked hard to bring you one of East Tennessee’s Finest RV Resorts and ask that the following be adhered to at all times while on resort property. Management reserves the right to evict without prior notice anyone who creates a disturbance, nuisance or deliberately breaks any of the resort rules. Eviction will be immediate and without reimbursement of any camping fees.
- Quiet Hours: A state of general quietness shall be observed between the hours of 10PM and 7AM.
- Tent Camping - Currently, we do not allow Tent Camping within the Resort.
- Campfires are allowed only in approved fire rings. No open fires or bonfires are allowed for any reason. See office for location of approved fire pits.
- Boats/Jet Ski- All boats/jet ski’s must be registered for dockage or storage. Additional fee applies.
- Visitors- All visitors must register at the office upon arrival and park in the auxiliary lot.
- Daily Visitors fee: includes access to the resort and use of facilities until 10PM
- Age 4-17 $3.00 and 18 & Above $6.00. Max. four additional Guests.
- Visitors may be restricted during periods of high occupancy.
- Recreational Vehicles –
- Every RV entering premises may be subject to inspection for health, safety and code compliance and MUST be in good working condition with NO DAMAGE or LEAKS of any kind.
- Sewer and Water connections must be properly fitted and supported to prevent leaks.
- Any RV greater than 10 years old may be prohibited from entering the Resort and will be inspected for compliance in Health, Safety and code areas.
- No repair work is to be done on site.
- No Generators may be used within resort.
- Washing – Any washing of RV’s must be done by using environmentally friendly biodegradable soap. No phosphates or detergents allowed. No Pressure washing.
- RV Sites:
- All sites must be kept neat, clean and orderly. All trash cans must be kept inside RV to protect wildlife.
- Satellites must remain on the concrete pad at your site or attached to you RV. No digging or attaching to anything within the resort Satellites may not be placed in the grass around your site.
- No clotheslines or clothes may be draped around the site. Laundry facilities are on site.
- No parking on the grass or in any part of the road. Please use designated parking spaces only.
- All rigs/vehicles MUST be completely parked on the pad with no overhang onto the road.
- No decks are allowed.
- No trailers allowed beyond gravel lot and must be registered additional fees may apply.
- Mowing- Resort mowers and landscape team mow on Wed. & Thurs. and must have access to all grass around sites. Please pull slide-outs in until mowing is complete. Please keep all personal items off grass. We are not responsible for damaged items left in the grass on mowing days. All mowing dates are subject to change due to inclement weather or Holidays.
- Pets - Current Rabies vaccination documentation is required upon check-in. Pets are to be kept on a short leash (6’ or less) at all times. Pets are not allowed in any of the buildings or in the Swimming Pool area. You must pick up after your pets and dispose of litter in the proper receptacles. Pets are not to be left unattended or tied up outside your RV. No more than 2 pets per site.
- Trash - Household trash in tied plastic bags are to be placed into the dumpsters located within the Resort. No heavy or commercial trash or waste including wood, carpets, or chemicals are allowed in the dumpsters. NO FISH WASTE ALLOWED!!
- Fishing – We support Catch & Release Fishing. A valid TWRA Fishing permit is required. You may call (888) 814-8972 for temporary licenses over the phone. Credit Card Required.
- Bathhouses and Laundry Room – For your safety and convenience the Bathhouses and Laundry Rooms have security locks. This allows you 24 hour access to our facilities. It is important to be sure the doors shuts and is locked behind you and please turn off the lights when you leave. Please do not enter while being cleaned.
- Pool Complex – Open 10AM-10PM, May - Sept. No Lifeguard on Duty, swim at your own risk. The pool gates have security locks provided for your safety and convenience. Please Do Not Enter the area when these gates are locked as chemical cleaning may be in progress. No Smoking or Glass on Pool Deck.
- Fireworks – Firecrackers, Firearms, or explosives of any kind are not permitted.
- Bicycles/Golf Carts- Tennessee Laws require children 16 and under to wear a helmet while riding a bicycle and no bicycles may be used at night. Children under 16 years old are not permitted to drive golf carts. Golf Carts must have headlights to be driven at night.
- Parking- One RV and One vehicle allowed per site. All other non-recreational vehicles and trailers must use auxiliary lot across from CHECK-IN Building. Additional fee applies.
- Speed limit – Resort speed limit is 5 MPH
